Gor Mahia new midfielder hails quality of Kenyan football

Gor Mahia new midfielder Jean Baptiste Mugireneza, has hailed the quality of football in Kenya saying they were no easy games after struggling against teams from the lower tiers in his first preseason with the Green Army.

The Rwandese, signed from Tanzanian side Azam football Club, admitted they will have to be at their best in the league if they were to win matches but exuded confidence that they had all that was required to win titles this season.

The midfielder opened his goal account for his new club in their first match of the season against Kariobangi Sharks last weekend at Afraha stadium in Nakuru.

The former league champions will take on another new league side Zoo Kericho this Saturday in Kisumu City in their next Sportpesa league encounter.
