Arsenal’s confidence came back with FA Cup win, says Wenger

Arsenal defeated Lincoln City 5-0 in the FA Cup quarter final match and eased the pressure on Coach Arsene Wenger.

After Tuesday’s humiliating European Champions League exit against Bayern Munich, Wenger had endured calls for his resignation and the Gunners boss must have breathed a sigh of relief as Arsenal avoided even greater humiliation.

The five goals were netted by Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and a Luke Waterfall own goal.

Meanwhile  Tottenham Hotspurs will face Millwall this afternoon in the third FA cup quarter final match while  Chelsea host  Manchester United in the last quarter final match tomorrow evening.
