Ex-TNA Sec Gen defects to ODM

Former TNA party Secretary General Onyango Oloo has formally decamped to ODM. Oloo was received into the ODM fold by party leader Raila Odinga and thousands of ODM supporters, at Kenyatta Sports grounds in Kisumu.
He was accompanied by at least 7 county former Chairpersons and other leaders into his new political home.
Oloo cited lack of inclusivity in the newly formed Jubilee party as the main reason for decamping from the Jubilee bandwagon.
Oloo had earlier on decamped from the President led Jubilee party citing a number of reasons, butr without specifying his destination.
The once fierce critic of the opposition leaders has now vowed to use his networks to ensure Raila Odinga carries the day come August 8th.
Raila warned that the defection was a sign of things to come and it was just a matter of time before other high profile individuals join the opposition, and form what he touted as a strong storm that would sweep its way into power.
He however called on the locals to register as voters terming it the only way of winning the next poll. In revealing their strategy Raila asked the locals to ensure each and every one of their friends and family members register as voters. The CORD leader urged his supporters to adopt a polling station and ensure on the voting day, they safeguard their votes. Raila is on a month long tour in his strong holds to encourage his supporters to register as voters.
