Kenyan Lotiang wins Warsaw Half Marathon

Kenyan John Lotiang won the Warsaw Half Marathon, an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race, Sunday evening in Poland after clocking 1 hour 1 minute and 11 seconds.
Masresha Bisetegn and Mesfin Alemu of Ethiopia finished in second and third positions, clocking 1 hour 1min and 39 seconds and 1hour 1min and 42 seconds respectively.
The women’s race was won by Ethiopia’s Ayantu Gemechu who clocked 1 hour 10mins and 26 seconds while her compatriots Peninah Arusei and Christine Oigo finished in second and third positions respectively.
Attention now shifts to the Prague Half Marathon that will be held on 1st April this year in Czech Republic where Kenyan Daniel Wanjiru will seek to defend his title.
