40 Karate players to represent Kenya in World contest

Forty Karate players will represent Kenya in the East Africa and World championships that will be held in April and October respectively.

This was revealed by Kenya Karate Goju Kai Association during  the first round of the national trials held at  the Nyayo national stadium Nairobi.

The association is set to hold another trial in Mombasa which will also draw participants from different Counties in the country.

Kenya will be seeking to clinch more gold trophies after bagging home three gold medals during last year’s championship that was held in Uganda.

However, the association will hold another national trial in September which will be used to select a team that will represent Kenya in the World championship slated for 28 October to 1st of November this year.
