Athletics Kenya rolls out registration of members country wide

Athletics Kenya has rolled out registration of members country wide in a move aimed at streamlining its operations.

The exercise which commenced on Thursday will see members being registered in all the 16 Athletics Kenya affiliated regions at the ward levels and is open till 28th of next month.

According to AK, chairman, retired General Jackson Tuwei, they are targeting to register over 36,000 members country wide at a fee of 500 shillings per individual, with the money raised from the drive being shared between the sub county, region and the national office.

The federation currently has 4120 registered members countrywide.
