Jubilee and NASA neck to neck in Nairobi- Opinion poll

The race to galvanize and consolidate Nairobi County’s votes between the two leading political coalitions, Jubilee and NASA almost stands neck to neck, according to the latest polls by the Infotrak.

Jubilee party leads in popularity in Nairobi County at 43.2 % with the National Super alliance NASA getting a 40% public approval if the election was to be conducted today.

According a latest findings on  Nairobi County popularity survey, Westlands MP Timothy Wanyonyi  has the highest probability of re-election at 64%, George  Theuri of Embakasi West second at 63%, Kibra MP Ken Okoth third at 60% and Yusuf Hassan of Kamukunji at 54%.

John Ndirangu of Embakasi Central has the least re-election probability at 21 % followed by Langata MP Joash Olum at 22%.

And if elections are held today, Nairobi Women representative Rachel Shebesh would retain her seat with voter popularity of 37 %. Millicent Omanga comes second with 13%.

In the senatorial bid, the current Nairobi senator Mike Sonko remains popular at 35% and Johnson Sakaja second at 26%.

800 respondents were sampled in the research conducted last weekend covering all the 17 constituencies of Nairobi County.
