Ulinzi sign ex K’Ogalo winger

Sportpesa premier league side Ulinzi Stars will sign three more players this month after completing the signing of Baron Oketch from Gor Mahia.

Ulinzi yesterday confirmed the  signing of winger Oketch from Gor Mahia on a one year deal.

Oketch joined Gor Mahia in June 2016 from Western Stima but  after failing to settle at Gor, the winger has been loaned out to Ulinzi.

The soldiers will be under coach Benjamin Nyangweso from 2017 season after the club opted against renewing coach Robert Matano’s contract.

Meanwhile, Sportpesa Premier League debutants, Nzoia United, are expected to resume training after breaking camp for the Christmas festivities.

The Bungoma based side who finished top of the log in National Super League will assemble on 4th of this month as they begin their 2017 off preparations ahead of the new Kenya Premier league season.

The newcomers will intensify their training program under the watchful eyes of their technical team led by former Kenya international Bernard Mwalala.

The team will use Sudi Stadium in Bungoma as their first home ground with Kanduyi and Mumias Sports Complex being their alternative home-grounds.

Meanwhile West Ham attacking midfielder Sofiane Feghouli was a surprise omission as Algeria announced their final squad of 23 players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Senegal opens their campaign on 15th of this month against Tunisia in Franceville.
